only the young

Yup, I rigged the title from a Taylor swift song. Just want to remind you that TODAY you're young, this moment will NEVER come again. You will never be as young as you are at this moment. So fun, do what you want, pursue your dreams.
Right now I have zero motivation to create, write or publish an article. However, I owe it to my goal (post every week) and that's what I'm doing right now.

I shall treat this log as my journal today. Nothing significant has happened on this website until now, only a handful of people see the articles (very grateful for those few) and I'm not sure if anyone even reads them. But, in a way, it makes me more comfortable to write so freely about nothing in particular.
Today was a good day, it was Valentine's day. Nothing special has occurred and I have had yet another opportunity to pursue my dreams. I have indulged in self care, braided my hair and did my nails.
I shall now end my useless log now.

Until Friday,
hx.

Gen z ? IGen ?

Social generations are cohorts of people born in the same date range and share similar cultural experiences. Gen Z is the newest generation to be named and were born between 1995 and 2015.  Members of Gen Z are true digital natives: from earliest youth, they have been exposed to the internet, social networks and mobiles. They are able to integrate virtual and offline experiences. Which of the following Gen Z characteristics do you identify with? Identity Nomads Gen Zers experiment with different ways of being themselves and to shape their individual identities over time. Gender fluidity may be the most telling reflection of “undefined ID”. Gen Z seeks uniqueness in all walks of life primarily through the br...

Put your head on my shoulder - Chinese drama review

I generally watch k dramas , its quite hard to go wrong with any Korean drama. They always seem to cast talented actors, wear pretty outfits, an engaging story line and amazing cinematography. Chinese dramas like Love O2O, Boss and me, Ten miles of Peach blossoms and Love me if you dare have proved to be great dramas to watch. In 2019, put your head on my shoulder was a Chinese drama that was talked about very often. This drama truly deserves its popularity . The plot is set in a university,  Situ Mo [ Xing Fei ]   and  Gu Weiyi [ Lin Yi ]  are nearing their graduation. Through a course of events ,the two end up living together in  Gu Weiyi's apartment. T heir growing attraction to one another seems quite natural and cute . The drama shows the the leads from their university days to their marriage and work. Both Xing Fei and Lin Yi are really good looking . Their roles were well played. The chemistry between them is great. Also, because the ...

A pretense.

We all pretend at some point. Some days we pretend much more than usual. It's easy to pretend when people are only concerned about themselves They'll fall for your deceit, and even if they see through it, they couldn't care less.  Often people pretend to be happy, to fake a mile or talk cheerfully. That way, the system is intact and society can proceed in its illusion of being perfect. Our society cannot accept sad people. Ironically, this emotion is very common. Sometimes, I feel like life is made of predominantly hurtful instances and sprinkles of  precious happiness. As children, we were 'allowed' to be mad and sad whenever we liked. but, as we grow older, showing these 'negative' emotions is perceived as a sign of weakness, ill health. And maybe, it is not healthy to be sad too often, but ignoring or even downplaying this emotion can only increase sadness. Today, we have an entire generation of sad people who do not know how to get over it. We ...
