Run, before they get to you.

Don't be angry!, they said. Do not show your tears. Do not be vulnerable, even if you are, don't let them see. Why blame the society, when 'loved ones' force a mask on us. Somewhere down the line,  My mask and I became one.                                                -plastic and fragile

Steps to productivity

Watching Netflix, partying and jamming to music are all fun but somewhere at the back of your head all the unfinished assignments remind you of reality. All of us have procrastinated at some point in our life. Last summer, I decided to change my life and put an end to this fatal disease, yes a disease that will not stop spreading until you tackle it. Here are some steps that have helped me get through procrastination: Make a to do list Make a list of EVERYTHING that needs to get done. Include things like taking a shower, doing your nails, eating food etc. that way you'll get used to the feeling of checking things off a list and will want to do it more often. There are several apps available to help you make a to do list. Personally, I prefer using a handwritten list as it has proven to be more effective and therapeutic for me. Making a list allows you to organize  helps you organize your tasks into one piece if paper, that way you won't forget to do anything. S

K drama - a beginners guide

Welcome to drama-land, I've been here for 5 years now and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. If you've finally decided to check out what the hype about kdramas is, I believe I can help. Here are five things you need to know : 1. Keep an open mind. Remember that Asian dramas are quite different from American or British TV shows, simply because of a huge difference in culture. 2. A typical Korean drama does not exceed 20 episodes, most dramas are only 16 episodes long with one hour each episode. So, watching a kdrama doesn't really take long, which is why there are MANY korean dramas with different genres to try. New Korean dramas are available almost every other day.  3. Romance is usually limited to cute scenes between the couples and kissing. But, even these scenes are quite heartwarming and can teach you different ways to express love.  ( via thatrandomgirlxx )  4. Korea is known for high fashion, and a good Korean drama will definit

Reset time

Hi, so it's Friday and my creative juices aren't flowing. I'm kinda ill [a regular cold]. But sometimes, even the most regular and ordinary problem can get put out your mood. For a while I've been slacking off, not really paying much attention to work and college. I've been dwelling on my sadness and it doesn't help that I'm sick as well. So, this week I shall give you guys an account of 2020 till now. As mentioned above, I have been lacking in motivation but trying to stay on track as much as possible, like squeezing the last few drops of toothpaste out of its tube. In general my head hurts and insomnia is growing. As I'm already whining about my life, I shall list out some steps that might help me get out of this rut (based on past experience). Drink loads of water. Read a good book. Listen to good music. Make a short to do list and ensure that you check off all boxes before the end of the day. Talk to yourself, affirmations etc. Wash your

Five steps to better skin.

A week before New Years, I began breaking out. Ever since 2017, I have always had acne, some days it's fine and sometimes, my face looks like a pink cookie with all that acne. This time it hurt to see my face, I didn't want to begin a new decade with bad skin. I had one week to control the damage. Fast forward to New Years, my skin is much better, no prominent pimples along with some scars that are fading away. Based on my experience, here are five simple steps to better skin. Tea tree oil Tea tree oil is a popular choice for treating acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. This oil works like a magic potion, it helps to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. Personally, I use The Body Shop's tea tree oil. Tea tree oil can literally make an upcoming pimple disappear. Aloe Vera Aloe Vera gel is another popular choice for those with bad skin. It is very gentle on the skin. Applying cool aloe vera gel on the face feels very s

Gen z ? IGen ?

Social generations are cohorts of people born in the same date range and share similar cultural experiences. Gen Z is the newest generation to be named and were born between 1995 and 2015.  Members of Gen Z are true digital natives: from earliest youth, they have been exposed to the internet, social networks and mobiles. This generation is most likely to have never known a mobile that isn’t a smartphone. All these factors have given rise to a hypercognitive generation that is very comfortable with collecting and cross-referencing many sources of information within minutes. They are able to integrate virtual and offline experiences. Which of the following Gen Z characteristics do you identify with? Identity Nomads Gen Zers experiment with different ways of being themselves and to shape their individual identities over time. Gender fluidity may be the most telling reflection of “undefined ID”. Gen Z seeks uniqueness in all walks of life primarily through the brands
